La Republica Dominicana

I will post more later on this amazing place, but for now here are the pictures I narrowed it down to (I took close to 1,000….Thanks to Kristen for this great camera!). Notice the deserted beaches, places to hike, and the pig! I’m in Texas now with the fam at the Lake. I got to spend last night at South Beach in Miami, but didn’t get many good pictures. It’s pretty much the summer of living in my swim suit! 🙂P.S. I cut my hair!

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words!

I can’t even tell you how breathtakingly beautiful it is here! I flew into Puerto Plata, it’s on the North West coast of the Dominican Republic. We’ve spent a lot of time in little beach towns like Cabarete, Encuentra, and Sosua. It’s not a commercial tourist place at all, so there are lots of deserted beaches and local hot spots. So far I’ve enjoyed the beach, the wildlife, jumping off waterfalls and watching people kite surf! Just look at the pics! The first one is my view from where I’m sitting right now at a wifi spot on the beach.
